When it comes to pattern continuation, children with graphomotor difficulties are often completely overwhelmed when you put a worksheet with patterns in front of them.
The idea behind Musterprofi is therefore that differentiation can be made in two ways.
1. Content differentiation
The patterns are available in three levels of ability. It is particularly motivating for children if they are given free choice and can challenge themselves with a pattern that is more difficult for them.
2. Flexible number of processed patterns
Because only one strip is worked on at a time and then added to the professional sample book, there is less time and performance pressure for the children. Faster students simply have more and some children have less. No one has to rework anything until everyone is finished!
How it works
-The child chooses a template of the appropriate level of difficulty and a corresponding blank pattern strip
-The pattern is transferred to the pattern strip and continued
-Once the pattern is finished, the strip can be stapled to the title page to form a booklet. Any other patterns that are created can also be added.
Tip
If your students need a little extra motivation, you can stick stars on the title page for each completed task. For example, for a task at an intermediate level, you could stick 2 star stickers on.
