What is the first thing your students do when they come into the classroom? Mine always look at our daily schedule to find out what we are planning that day. This shows me again and again how important such transparency is for children in their school day. " When is the weekend?" "How many more sleeps do I have to get until..." these are questions that children often ask. A calendar helps children to find their way around the week and the year more easily. The capital letters and supporting pictures mean that the calendar can be used from the 1st grade onwards.
The eucalyptus design is deliberately kept simple so that it doesn't become too colorful in your classroom =)
